You’re all set to experience your first deep sea fishing trip on the Free Spool Sport Fishing boat. While you’re in for a tremendous amount of fun, you can maximize your enjoyment with a little bit of preparation.
Before you sail off to explore the waters of South Florida, make sure you get plenty of sleep. With the sound of the boat engine and the ebb of the waves, a lack of sleep increases the odds of dozing off. You probably won’t be falling asleep while you’re reeling in a fish caught on your line, you always want to be as alert as possible.
Speaking of the ebbing of the ocean, it may be a good idea to bring along some Dramamine which is available over the counter, particularly if it is your first time on a boat or you have a propensity for seasickness. In fact, you may wish to take some prior to boarding the ship so that its effect lasts throughout the fishing trip. Even if seasickness has never been an issue with you, it’s still a good idea to keep some available.
